Essential Facts for Students, Founders & Organizers

Concise answers grounded in official Indian Space Hub platform guidelines.

What is the Aerospace Hub?

A dedicated digital directory and creator studio hosted by Indian Space Hub. It connects university rocketry laboratories, deep-tech aerospace startups, and amateur astronomy societies to showcase engineering hardware, post build logs, and issue event passes.

Who Can Participate?

Anyone building space hardware or gathering space enthusiasts: middle and high school students, undergraduate rocketry teams (CanSat, sounding rockets, rovers), early-stage aerospace founders, and local astronomy clubs hosting skywatches.

Is Incorporation (CIN/GSTIN) Required?

No corporate registration is required. You can register as an academic team, student group, or community club. Verification is performed through university advisor recommendations or institutional email verification.

How Do Events & Passes Work?

Organizers publish events (symposiums, dark-sky camps, workshops). Registered attendees instantly receive a digital QR pass stored in their wallet. Organizers check in attendees using an in-browser camera scanner.

  • Show models, research & prototypes
  • Find teammates and mentors
  • Ask for sponsorship or equipment
  • Share progress and achievements

Startups & Companies

Student founders, early ventures & aerospace businesses

Give your propulsion technology, satellite buses, and aerospace hardware a clear home for partners and clients.

  • Show products and services
  • Explain your development stage
  • Share specifications and documents
  • Receive business inquiries

Events & Communities

Clubs, schools, colleges & space enthusiasts

Bring people together to learn, explore the night sky, and exchange rocketry, astronomy, and science ideas.

  • Create a club or community profile
  • Host workshops and skywatches
  • Manage event registrations
  • Use digital passes and check-in

Not sure which to choose? Pick Projects & Student Teams for something you’re building, Startups & Companies for a commercial venture, or Events & Communities for an observation society or astronomy gathering. Individual astrophotographers and telescope builders are always welcome.

Okay, What Do I Do Next?

Pick your path for a practical, step-by-step walkthrough.

Make your project easy to understand.

A school science model or CAD concept is a valid starting point. You can also share propulsion research, a Mars rover prototype, a CanSat, or an altitude test rocket.

  1. 1. Add your project in Creator StudioOpen Projects & CAD. Give it a clear title and explain the aerospace problem or engineering hypothesis.
  2. 2. Show where you are nowAdd photos, CAD drawings, or telemetry links. State whether you are researching, assembling, or test-firing.
  3. 3. Detail what help you needIn your description or sponsorship pitch deck, list parts, workshop facilities, faculty advice, or sponsorship needed.
  4. 4. Publish chronological build logsUse Build Logs to record dates, trial results, what failed, and what you’re fixing. Share your verified public profile with supporters.

Good Work Deserves the Right Support

Make it transparent how academic advisors, alumni, and sponsors can contribute to your next milestone.

Find Teammates & Mentors

List engineering disciplines you need (aerodynamics, avionics, telemetry, structural finite element analysis). Use the Hiring module for student recruitment.

Transparent Sponsorship Decks

Share a PDF pitch deck explaining your budget, test site costs, carbon fibre composites, or propulsion test stands. Support can be hardware, testing facilities, or travel grants.

Build Trust with Honest Logs

Post unedited static fire results, motor burn curves, structural load tests, and setbacks in your Build Logs. Transparent engineering attracts genuine industrial partners.

Multi-Channel Link Sharing

Use the built-in Share modal on your profile or event page to distribute verified links across WhatsApp, LinkedIn, X, Telegram, and university notice boards.

Note: The platform facilitates technical discovery, peer networking, and contact. Publishing a profile does not guarantee monetary funding, corporate sponsorship, or commercial contracts.

Your Creator Studio, Module by Module

An integrated workspace for managing your profile, hardware specifications, events, and community inbox.

Profile & Contact

Edit your logo, team banner, campus affiliation, social links, website, and institutional contact email. Check moderation status.

Projects & Hardware / CAD

Publish your rockets, satellites, rovers, and software with transparent specifications (Thrust, Mass, TRL 1–9, Documentation PDFs).

Build Logs Diary

Keep a dated chronological diary with photos, milestone achievements, design changes, and upcoming engineering goals.

Events & Sessions

Create workshops, skywatches, competitions, or rocket launches with venue directions, maximum capacity, and digital ticket quotas.

QR Scanner & Check-In

Use your device camera to scan attendees’ admission QR passes in real time, or enter 8-character pass codes manually at the venue.

Inquiries Inbox

Receive and reply to sponsorship proposals, quotation inquiries, mentorship requests, and media interviews from one unified desk.

Student Recruitment & Hiring

Post openings for collegiate rocket sub-teams (Structures, Propulsion, Avionics, Recovery) or full-time aerospace engineering positions.

Team Members & Permissions

Invite co-captains, student leads, and advisors with granular role permissions (Owner, Admin, Member) so your team collaborates securely.

Events & Digital QR Pass Admissions

A clear, reliable workflow for both attendees and event organizers.
