"What matches known information EOS-05 (also referred to as GISAT-1A in several sources) is designed as a geosynchronous Earth-observation satellite built on ISRO's I-2K bus and intended to provide frequent imaging of India from a high-altitude geosynchronous orbit. Publicly available mission descriptions state that it can image selected areas roughly every 5 minutes and the entire Indian landmass about every 30 minutes. Public sources also describe payload features including: A 700 mm Ritchey–Chrétien telescope Imaging in Visible/Near-Infrared (VNIR) and Short-Wave Infrared (SWIR) bands Multispectral and hyperspectral imaging A high-agility, jitter-free platform for rapid target acquisition and imaging."
